Ray H. Taylor

Ray H. Taylor, 74, died August 27, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Taylor was born in LaBelle, Florida and moved to Fort Pierce in 1968.

He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army working as a Tank Commander. He was a member of the Port St. Lucie Church of Christ. His Florida cracker heritage dated back to the 1820’s.

Survivors include his wife, Carlotta Taylor of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Jason and Buck Taylor both of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Raymond Taylor of Okeechobee, FL; sister, Delean Maddox of Old Town, FL; grandchildren, Colton, Shaylee and Laynee Taylor. He was preceded in death by his son, Jesse Taylor and daughter, Rona Taylor.

Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Ortona Cemetery, Moore Haven, Florida.
