Raymond J. McGee

Raymond J. McGee, died on May 17 in Fort Pierce, FL. He was born in Lorain, OH and moved here 24 years ago, coming from Baltimore, MD.

He retired as Chief Financial Officer for Chessie Systems (CSX) Railroad and Vice President of a subsidiary Railroad in Chicago. He was a decorated veteran of WWII. He served in the Korean War as Controller of the 5th infantry division at Indiantown Gap, PA. Ray was also very active in many civic organizations.

He is survived by his wife, Morna A. McGee of Fort Pierce; daughters, Maura Johnson of Wilmington, NC, Ann (Dennis) Porter of Western Springs, IL, Connal (Joseph) Small of Lake Bluff, IL, Jane (Kenneth) Rulon of Arcadia, IN; sisters, Marcella Holder, Rosemary Gfell; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Marks Catholic Church, 1924 Zephyr Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.

There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Marks Catholic Church of Friday, May 21st at 10:00 AM.
