Rebecca Sue Gregg

Rebecca "Becky" Sue Gregg, 80, of Fort Pierce, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. 

Becky was born in Richmond, VA.  She grew up in Beckley WV, where she met the love of her life, Dearl, who preceded her in death.   They were married 64 years.  During their time in WV, they had their children, Bobby & Tammy.  In 1991, they took up residence in Fort Pierce where she later retired from retail. 

Becky was a member of the Crossings Community Church in Fort Pierce and was a volunteer for their thrift store.  She was also a volunteer for the Mustard Seed Ministries for several years.  She enjoyed doing crafts, baking, & reading.  Her favorite past time was time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Madeline; husband, Dearl; & grandchildren: Thomas, Stephen, Faith, Grace, & Eboniee. 

Survivors include her son, Bobby Gregg; daughter, Tammy Hopkins, both of Fort Pierce; and a sister, Roberta Smith, of Palm Bay.  She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jason, Becky, Adam, John, Ashley, Tylor, & Kasey; and her great grandchildren: Sydnee, Lylli, Aiden, Payton, Blaine, Caleb, Aubree, Bentley, Serenity, Novella, Jacob, Lawson, Briar, Baylee, Jaxx, Michael, & Karter.  "Gibby" meant a lot to her grandchildren, and will be deeply missed, even by the friends of her grandchildren whom she took in and loved as her own.  They ALL held a special place in her heart. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the Crossings Church, Indio Rd. Campus, at 6pm.  Friends may visit with family one hour prior to the service.
