Pastor Reginald Ward Spooner, 77, died October 25, 2006 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.Pastor Spooner was born in Wilmington, North Carolina and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1984 coming from Eastpoint, Florida.He was a retired Pastor of the Oleander Avenue Church of God, graduate of Lee College in Cleveland, Tennessee and received his ThD, PhD from Logos Graduate School in Jacksonville, Florida.Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Gloria A. Spooner of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Sandra S. Anderson of Stuart, FL; sons, James R. Spooner of Ulysses, KS, Jeffrey W. Spooner of St. Mary’s, GA, and Richard L. Spooner of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, David L. Spooner of Chesapeake, VA; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
