Regis Dale Trefelner, III
Regis Dale Trefelner, III, 34, died April 15, 2022, at home in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was born September 19,1987 in Stuart, Florida the son of former County Commissioner R. Dale Trefelner, Jr. and Cynthia Putnam.
Following his high school graduation, he completed the Chapman School of Seamanship USCG license preparation programs in Stuart, Florida. He was a passionate fisherman both in the Atlantic Ocean and the lakes of Michigan. He worked as a shipping clerk for G.A. Reynolds in Grand Rapids, Michigan and as a charter fisherman in the Michigan rivers and lakes. He was incredibly magnetic and the definition of a people person. There was a bright light about him even in the darkest times.
Predeceased by his father, R. Dale Trefelner and grandparents R. “Dee” Trefelner and Genevieve “Honey” Trefelner. Surviving is his beloved partner, Clarissa M. Ellison with daughter Blaire Dahlke and his three-year old daughter, Irena M. Trefelner; mother, Cynthia Putnam; sister, Genevieve T. Rasik and SSG Daniel M. Rasik US Army, and nieces and nephews, Michael Dale Rasik, Madilyn Grace Rasik and Benjamin Palmer Rasik.
Regis was everything a father should ever be; his family was his life.

Visitation will be held on April 28, 2022 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce, Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated April 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, 407 S. 33rd St., Ft. Pierce, Florida. The Rite of Committal and Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Ft. Pierce, Florida.
