Reinaldo “Randy” Lewis Lopez, Sr., 63, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021.
He was raised in Long Island, New York. After graduating from William Floyd High School, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps where he served as a Sergeant. He was a gifted athlete, excelling in soccer, ultimately becoming a member of the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers Soccer Club.
On December 19, 1976 and June 11, 1984, he welcomed his daughter, Priscilla and his son, Randy. He accomplished many things throughout his life, but nothing made him prouder than his children.
Randy eventually settled down in the Florida Keys. He had a love for the outdoors, especially fishing & boating. He also enjoyed coaching his son’s soccer & baseball teams for many years. His personality was contagious as his laugh, likeable & loveable, making friends wherever he would go.
Randy is survived by his daughter, Priscilla Lopez; son, Randy Lopez and his wife Audrey; grandchildren, Easton & Oaklyn; and his sister, Jean Leser. He is preceded in death by his siblings Jose, Maria, and Angelo.
A gathering will be held on Saturday, August 28th from 10:00-11:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11 AM at Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Rd., Ft. Pierce.
