Richard Cole Ramer, 86, died March 27, 2011 in Vero Beach, Florida.
Mr. Ramer was born in Rockford, Illinois and was a winter resident of Vero Beach for the last 21 years.
He graduated from West High School in Rockford, Illinois. He was the owner/operator of Rockford Potato Company and the 320 Store and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Joyce G. Ramer of Vero Beach, FL; daughter, Linsey Gregg of Rockford, IL; and two grandchildren, Derrick Gregg and Alexis Gregg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Indian River Humane Society, 6230 77th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32967.
