Richard David Difrancesco

Richard David DiFrancesco, age 62, lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away on Saturday July 9, 2016 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
He was born on July 30, 1953, the son of Joseph and Mafalda DiFrancesco. He proudly served for his country in the U.S. Army, after graduating from Ft. Pierce Central High School. He had a great passion for construction and home remodeling, which made his lifelong line of work. He loved his pets and his family, dedicating most of his time to them.
He leaves behind son, Richard DiFrancesco, Jr.; daughters, Allyson and Ashley Jurkowski; 6 grandchildren; his beloved parents, Joseph and Mafalda DiFrancesco; his 5 brothers, Joseph DiFrancesco, Johnny DiFrancesco, Michael DiFrancesco, Anthony DiFrancesco, and Steven DiFrancesco; and his 3 sisters, Margherita Sagy, Linda French, and Nancy Harris. He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick DiFrancesco.
We ask family and friends to wear their best boots, in honor of Richard who was long known for his positive outlook on life, sense of humor and love for boots.
No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. May you find comfort in the hands of angels and healing in the hands of the Lord.
Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
