Richard Elmo Wolf, age 88, died on May 20th in Fort Pierce, FL. He was a native of Fort Pierce.

Richard was a contractor. He served in the US Army during WWII with the Glider Infantry. He was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church, and a Eucharist Minister. He was a member of the American Legion Post #40, Moose Lodge #248, Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree, Santa Lucia General Assembly Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Coble Wolf of Fort Pierce; son, Richard F. Wolf of Fort Pierce; daughters, Doris Walden of Fort Lauderdale, Ellan Rice of Vero Beach, FL; stepdaughter, Annamary Gilanyi of Warren, OH; brothers, Frank P. Wolf, Jr. and William L. Wolf, both of Fort Pierce; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Baumker.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 25, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a Wake Service at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 26, at 10:00 AM, at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Richard’s Life will follow, at the Haisley Reception Center.
