Richard Norman Haight

Richard Norman Haight, passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 88 in Jensen Beach, Florida. He was born on October 2, 1935, in Corry, Pennsylvania. Richard retired from Allstate Insurance after 33 years and then enjoyed his retirement life in Indian Lake, OH, Erie, PA, and Jensen Beach, Florida.

 Richard is survived by his spouse, Carolyn Haight, and his children: Randall (Kathi) Haight of Haymarket, VA, Brad (Karen) Haight of Columbus, Ohio, and John (Wendy) Haight of Kettering, Ohio.  He is also survived by his grandchildren: John, Ashley, Laura, Kelly, Hailie, and Madeline Haight, as well as his great-grandchild, Carson Baltzer. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Haight and Helen Purcell, his son, Richard A. Haight, Sisters Margaret "Peg" Kinney, Mary Lou Dey and brother Roger Haight.

 Richard was an avid sports fan following University of Dayton Flyers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals/Reds and sometimes betting on the horse races. He also enjoyed sitting on his back porch and watching the sunsets. 

 The funeral arrangements are being handled by Haisley Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. A private service will be held.
