Richard Hoxie
October 27, 1946 — January 23, 2014
He was a native of St. Lucia County, Florida; son of the late Alton and Marian Hughes Hoxie. Richard was a Seargent with the Sheriffs Department in Florida. He enjoyed free lance writing, poetry, boating and fishing. Richard also enjoyed traveling and entertaining. He was a US Air Force veteran.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Hoxie and one son, Tony Singley.
He is survived by two sons, Scott Singley and Jay Singley; three daughters, Trish Hoxie, Renee Hoxie and Teela Stuart Hoxie; one brother, Billy Billman; two sisters, Linda Kane and Donna Hartly; and two granddaughters, Tyffani Singley and Alexandrea Singley.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
