Richard L. “Big Rich” Sarvey, 50, died January 17, 2011 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Sarvey was born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania and moved to Port St. Lucie 12 years ago coming from Jensen Beach, Florida.
He enjoyed football and music.
Survivors include his wife, Lynette Sarvey of Port St. Lucie, FL; mother, Alice Noss Cowger of Stuart, FL; stepfather, William Cowger of Stuart, FL; brothers, David Sarvey of California and Kevin Sarvey of Okeechobee, FL; sisters, Sandy Weigel of Jensen Beach, FL and Beth Ann Lamoree of Georgia. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Nancy Sarvey and Donna Sarvey.
Memorial contributions may be made to the AmVets Post 92 (Wounded Warriors), 747 NE Dixie Highway, Jensen Beach, FL 34957.
Services: A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the AmVets Post 92, 747 NE Dixie Highway, Jensen Beach, FL.
