Richard Lind Merrell, 87, died April 17, 2011 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Merrell was born in Buchanan, Michigan and moved to Port St. Lucie in 2006 coming from Huron, Ohio where he lived for 40 years.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Huron in Ohio and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mary Frances Merrell of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Kerry Rabins of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, John Merrell of Columbus, OH and Tom Merrell of Jupiter, FL; brother, Dr. David W. Merrell of Gilford, NH; and 5 grandchildren.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
