Richard Lothrop

Rich 56, died peacefully at home on July 30, 2022. Born in Boston, the son of Paul B and Mary Jeanette Lothrop, he was the youngest of five children. He was raised in Weymouth and Centerville and graduated from Barnstable High School.

Married in 1985 he and his wife had three beautiful daughters. Rich lived the last part of his life in Florida, where he had many friends that shared his love for palm trees and sunshine. He attended weekly services at All Villages Presbyterian church and enjoyed the fellowship. He had weekly interactions with a variety of people who fondly called him "Mr. Richard." He was always known for his sense of humor and love of horses.

Rich is survived by Jillian Lothrop and her fiancé Justin Kinshaw, Acacia and James Rego, Jenna Lothrop and partner Ben Nickerson, siblings Karen Lothrop, Robert Lothrop and Lee Baker and her partner Bob O’Brien, sister-in-law Kerry Reid and Heather Rogers, also nephew Jay Baker, nieces Diana Lothrop and Andrea Lorden. He also leaves former wife and friend Pamela Dubois and four loving grandchildren. In addition, many cousins and family friends.

He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Paul B Lothrop Jr. and James L Lothrop.

Service and burial will be private.
