Richard “Dick” Gerald Traynor, 89, passed away on July 13, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Traynor was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.

Richard was an appliance technician for Sears for 16 years then went to operate his own company, Traynor Appliance Repair.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing in his free time.

Survivors include his daughters, Stephanie (Rick) Daniel of Wasilla, Alaska, Melanie (Michael) Biles of Vero Beach, FL and Amy (David) Reeves of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Mark (Theresa) Traynor of Port St. Lucie, FL, Joel (Judy) Traynor of Fort Pierce, FL and Brian (Mary) Traynor of Vero Beach, FL; sisters, Rachel Fowler and Judy Hobgood; brother, Steve Traynor; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Traynor, brothers, Bill and Edward Traynor, and sister, Sylvia Varnes Louise Matthews.

Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 10:00-11:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery, Fort Pierce.
