Rita Marie Cannon, 69, died April 7, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Rita was born in Owosso, Michigan and moved to Fort Pierce 38 years ago coming from Pompano Beach, Florida.
She was a dispatcher for the Broward County Sheriff’s Department and a customer service representative for an insurance company. She enjoyed riding and taking care of her horses, was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Don Cannon; daughters, Missy Geraine of Coral Springs, FL , Mindy Wessinger of Parkland, FL; brother, Bud Bonner of Mesa, AZ; 5 grandchildren, Nicolas Geraine, Kristopher Wessinger, Hayley Geraine, Clayton Geraine, Megan Wessinger. She is preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Bonner and parents.
