Rita Ann Lavin, 86, died January 24, 2013 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Lavin was a lifelong resident of Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Prior to retirement, Rita was a hairdresser. She was a faithful member of Sunrise Tabernacle Church. She loved animals and her family dearly.
Survivors include her daughter, Diana Lynn Lavin of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Garland Michael Ashworth of Richmond, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Prudencio Lavin, mother, Myrtle Saylor Pappalardo, sisters, Lois Stevens and Doris Williams and brother, Earl Williams.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3375 20th Street, Ste 100, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
