Robby Bendsneyder, 83, passed away on July 16, 2022 in Stuart, Florida.
Robby was born on May 24th, 1939, in Makassar, Indonesia to parents Charles and Johanna Bendsneyder. He was a graduate of Benton Community College and Oregon State University. He went on to join the US Army In 1962 before becoming an electrical engineer with CH2M Hill for 25 years. Robby married Helena Groen in 1963 in the Netherlands. He was a member of Morningside Church, Christ Fellowship Church, as well as the Abundant Life Ministries Assembly of God. Robby enjoyed going on cruises around the world with his wife, photography, painting, developing photos, videography, and cooking Asian dishes for his family.
Robby is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Helena Bendsneyder of Port St. Lucie, FL; Son, Michael Bendsneyder also of Port St. Lucie, FL; and daughters, Monique Zint of Austin, TX and Maureen Evans of Palm City, FL.
A visitation will be held on July 23, 2022 from 12 PM to 1 PM with a service to follow at 1 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. There will be a burial at South Florida National Cemetery on July 26, 2022 at 12:30 PM.
