Robert Francis Baumker, (Bobby) (Frog Man), 73, of Fort Pierce, Florida died June 10, 2021.
He died at his happy place doing what he absolutely loved to do. Bobby was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce. He was a hardworking man who loved his family, loved to eat and loved fishing. He was a people person and he had no filter. He really enjoyed helping others and would give you the shirt off his back. He was one of a kind and he lived his life to the fullest. He was welcomed home by his parents, wife and best friends.
Robert was a family citrus harvester, worked at B&B Machine Shop, worked at the railroad as a heavy equipment operator, heavy equipment operator for Dynamite Point Mining, mechanic and maintenance supervisor for Arapaho Citrus, repaired clown cars for the Shriners at Wright & Lopez Mechanics and was a lifeguard at Shamrock Pools for 7 years. He was a past member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He went to school and attended St. Anastasia Catholic Church.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, air boating, frog gigging, and working and spending time at Pumkin Hammock Ranch.
Survivors include his daughters, Michelle (Brian) Powers of Sandersville, GA and Crystal Baumker of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, John of Fort Pierce, FL and Steven (Amanda) Baumker of Vero Beach, FL; uncle, Billy Wolf of Fort Pierce, Florida; sister, Rosemarie (Kurt) Holtkamp of Okeechobee, FL; brother, Andy (Elaine) Baumker of Okeechobee, FL; grandchildren, Lauren, Emilee, David, Molly, Melody and Milo; his beloved 4-legged grandchild, Kami; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Baumker and his parents, Vivian and Andrew.
Services: A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Fort Pierce. A reception will follow at Haisley Reception Center, Fort Pierce.
