Robert Carl (Bob) Frazer of Okeechobee, FL, went home to be with his Lord on December 6, 2008. He was born in Marion, KY, on July 16, 1935, and graduated from Marion High School. Bob graduated from Law Baree Agee Laboratories, in Atlanta, GA and became a technician in the concrete industry. In 1966 he moved to Fort Pierce, FL, and in 1980 moved to Okeechobee. He worked in Chicago, Kansas City, Jessup, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Tampa; and spent seven years in Saudi Arabia with Tradco-Vulcan Industries. At the time of his death, he was the North Area Regional Manager for Continental Concrete of Fort Pierce. He was a member of the Fort Pierce Rotary Club for over 15 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. His church home was Treasure Island Baptist Church in Okeechobee.
Bob could work magic with a barbecue grill and spent countless hours grilling ribs and roasts for friends and family. His other specialties were his homemade barbecue sauce, apple salad, and giblet gravy. He enjoyed listening to gospel music and loved to read about American military history. He was devoted to his wife and family, an avid fan of the Florida Gators and President Bush, and a strong believer in the Word of God.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Betes of Port St. Lucie, FL, and sons John Frazer of Nashville, TN, and Larry Frazer of Fort Pierce. Other survivors include brothers Edwin (Bart) Johnson of Marion, KY, Charles (Runt) Johnson of Hudson, FL, William (Copper) Johnson of St. Louis, MO, Schley (Slick) Frazer of Murfreesboro, TN, sister Frances Quertermus of O'Fallon, MO, and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marvine Frazer, brother Douglas (Mose) Johnson, sister Ada Nell (Polly) Simpson, and grandson CPT Adam P. Snyder.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce, with a service to follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at White City Cemetery, Fort Pierce.
