Dr. Robert E. Fahringer

Dr. Robert E. Fahringer, 93, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2015.
He was a graduate of Rutgers University and Temple University School of Dentistry. He practiced dentistry for 35 years in Irvington and Roseland, New Jersey. For 20 years he was the owner of The Stuft Shirt Restaurant in South Orange, New Jersey. As a Major in the Army Air Corps (Air Force) during WWII, he was a Navigator in the South Pacific.
Doc was a member of Upper Montclair CC in Clifton, New Jersey, PGA Golf Club of Saint Lucie West, Florida, and the American Dental Association and its affiliates.
Also known as “Beeka,” he was devoted to his family and friends; he volunteered for many years at The Museum of Golf and golf tournaments; he was an avid golfer who also enjoyed watching football. Doc was always interested in reading about historic events. He was a well loved, generous man with a great sense of fun and humor.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Theresa A. Fahringer; sister, Dorothy Hedenus; sons, Robert E. III and wife Joanne and Dr. Donald and wife Lorena; grandchildren Robert Emmett IV and wife Rachel, Phillip, Donnie, Christopher, Adrian and wife Sue, Shana; great-grandchildren, Robert E. V, Eva Marie, Anessa, Jaiden, Isaiah and Alex, and great-great grandchild, Josiah; as well as many caring and loving nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his parents, Mary Fahringer Berry and Robert E. Fahringer; sister, Marion Cruitt; and daughters, Robin and Lisa Fahringer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 2:00PM to 5:00PM at Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hanover, New Jersey.
