Robert George Fisher
Robert “Bob” Fisher, 68, died January 31, 2019. Robert moved to Port Saint Lucie in 1988 coming from Pompano Beach, Florida.
Robert earned his bachelor’s degree from Barry University and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. He was a practicing criminal law attorney here in Fort Pierce since 1998. Bob was devoted to his family and his food. He loved taking pictures, skiing, surfing and mostly loved people…and making them laugh. He was a proud Woodstock attendee. He was also a loving man of God.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Fisher; sons, Martin Fisher and Bryant Fisher; daughter, Rachel Fisher all of Port St. Lucie; brothers, Paul (Sandy) Fisher of NJ and John (Jane Sullivan) Fisher of WV; grandson, Xavier Hess; nieces and nephews, Paul Fisher Jr., Brad Fisher, Elizabeth Fisher Granahan, Sylvia Fisher, Colleen Vessell MD, and Aisha Vessell; brother in-law, Cedric Vessell and mother in-law, Bessie Vessell. He was preceded in death by his daughter Alisa Fisher Hess.
Memorial Contributions may be made in his honor to Kerem El at 256 Brazilian Circle Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34952.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 4:30pm to 5:30pm at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce with service beginning at 5:30pm. A second service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019, 11:00 am (CST), New Truelight Missionary Baptist Church in Canton, Mississippi.
