Robert Hilson, 65, died February 5, 2018.
He was born in Fort Pierce, FL. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church and a long-time supporter of St. Joseph’s Indian School in South Dakota.
He was a graduate of Fort Pierce Central High School. A true outdoorsman, he had a passion for fishing, hunting and he was an avid gun collector. His true passion was his four grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughters; Elizabeth Baker (Ryan) of Jupiter, FL, Larra Murphy (Mark) of Jupiter, FL and Kara Odom (Eric) of Port Saint Lucie, FL; his brother Paul “Skip” Hilson (Cyndi) of Delray Beach, FL; five nieces and nephews; Janet, Paul, Jack, Amber, Austin and four beloved grandchildren; Jack, Ethan, Luke and Elle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Hilson and mother, Virginia Hilson Vincent.
Memorial contributions can be made to Community United Methodist Church, 3114 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34947.
A service will be held at 2:00 pm, February 17, 2018 at Community United Methodist Church with the Rev. Daniel Baker officiating.
