Kohler, Robert J. "The Rock" Of Ft. Pierce, FL, formerly of Waltham and Bourne, passed peacefully on September 3, 2015 at Treasure Coast Hospice Center in Ft. Pierce, FL, surrounded by loving family and friends. Robert was born in 1939 to the late Josephine (Donahue) and Arthur Kohler. "Bob" grew up in the Cedarwood neighborhood of Waltham. After high school, Bob joined the U.S. Marine Corps, and took extreme pride throughout his life on being a Marine Veteran. After completing his service in the Marine Corps, Bob began a successful sales career in the printing industry with WE Andrews Printing Co., and eventually utilized his entrepreneurial spirit to found and operate several companies in both MA and FL. Bob was an avid boater, political enthusiast, and enjoyed the constant travel he endured in support of his businesses. Bob amassed a treasure trove of life experiences over the years, and reveled in recounting these stories to family and friends alike with his witty banter. He is survived by his devoted wife Kimbal "Kim" who was the love of his life and wife of 23 years, as well as his "four boys", Robert, of Acton, MA, John and his wife Kathleen of Sudbury, MA, Joseph and his wife Linda of Waltham, MA and Edward and his wife Jesse, of York, ME. He is also survived by his sister Joan O'Brien of Boston, MA, brother Arthur and his wife Caroline, of Hookset, NH and sister Judith Hardiman and her husband Robert, of Hingham, MA. Bob was the loving grandfather to his 7 granddaughters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service is planned for 10am Saturday, September 19th, at St. Julia Church at 274 Boston Post Rd, Weston, MA followed by an inurnment at Linwood Cemetery, 190 Boston Post Rd Bypass, Weston.
