Robert “Bobby” Joseph Lowe, Sr. 

Fort Pierce and North Hutchinson Island residents grieved the loss of Bobby Lowe, longtime resident, and North Beach community leader. Bobby, a member of Christ Church of Vero Beach, joined his heavenly Father on Friday, January 19^th, 2024.  During his almost 50 years on North Beach Bobby was a community leader and served in leadership positions on more than twenty community, state and professional organizations, most recently as Chairman of the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission & St Lucie County Board of Adjustment.  He also served as board member of the St. Lucie County Hundred Club, New Horizons, and Hibiscus Children’s Center.  Apart from his community service activities, and along with his wife Sharon, he was an active real estate broker for more than 40 years, serving Treasure Coast residents and visitors from his North Beach Real Estate firm, Lowe’s International Realty Plus.  Bobby, known lovingly in the community as “Mr. North Beach,” was recently highlighted in an article in the Fort Pierce Magazine.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sharon L. Lowe of Fort Pierce, Florida; sons, Robert (Elise) J. Lowe, Jr. of Grovetown, GA, David M. (Diane) Lowe of Pasadena, MD, and James P. (Adriane) Lowe of Pompano Beach, FL; sister, Patricia Ozburn of Elk Grove Village, IL; grandchildren, Chandler E. Sewell, Robert Lowe III, Reagan Lowe, Kristen Reynolds, Max Lowe and Harper Lowe; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Donaldson, Olivia Reynolds, and Whittman Sewell.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Marie Dunsmore.  

A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held on January 30^th at Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.  Visitors will be received by the family at 2 p.m.  A Memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. with a reception following.
