Robert W. MacClellan
Robert W. MacClellan, 100, passed away on May 6, 2022 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
He was born in Syracuse, New York to Curtis and Maude (Bragg) MacClellan.
Bob was a Sergeant with the U.S. Army-Air Force serving during WWII as a radio operator in the Aleutian Islands. He attended Alabama State University graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. He returned to NY state, and after a long career in the newspaper industry retired as an editor with the Buffalo News. Loving the warm weather, he and Eudora relocated to the sunny south in Fort Pierce, Florida.
He was a fan of Big Band music, played drums in the Alabama State University marching band and could frequently be heard singing one of his favorite tunes.
Bob also enjoyed playing shuffleboard, swimming, biking, reading and cheering for the Buffalo Bills.
He was preceded in death by Eudora, his loving wife of 64 years, his parents and brother Richard. Survivors include his sons, John (Kathleen) MacClellan of Union Springs, NY, James (JoAnn) MacClellan of Grand Island, NY and Michael (Gail) MacClellan of Melrose, FL; 12 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 12:00-1:00 PM with a service at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
