Robert Nelson Meads, 83, died January 4, 2008 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. Meads was born in Freeport, Illinois and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1958 coming from Dakota, Illinois.He owned a local lawn service for 30 years and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Dorothy L. Meads of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Linda Lawber of Okeechobee, FL and Cynthia Meads of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Marion Runte of Ft. Pierce, FL and many nieces and nephews.Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Indian River West Campus, 1780 Hartman Road, Fort Pierce.
