Robert A. Pinault

Robert A. Pinault, 83, of Ft. Pierce, Florida, passed away on December 30, 2022 after a life lived to the limit and thoroughly enjoyed. In the twilight of his life, he made the effort to make laughter a daily habit.
Robert is pre-deceased by his parents, Alphonse and Margaret Pinault.
Single at passing, Robert (Bob) is survived by his brother, David, and nephew, Dean; adult children, Robert Jr. of NC, Cheryl of CT, Christine (Tim) of CT, Lisa of FL, Jim (Ronnie) of FL, Jason of FL, and Nicole (Scott) of FL; as well as a dozen grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Florida who will mourn his passing. He will forever be in their hearts and missed very much every day.
Robert (Bob) was born on February 20, 1939 to proud parents, Alphonse and Margaret Pinault, in Central Falls, Rhode Island. His brother, David, was born shortly after. Bob attended the Providence Country Day School until his high school graduation. In 1955, he went on to study business administration at the University of Rhode Island. During this time, he was in a horrific motorcycle accident, thankful to survive.
After he recovered, another disaster struck and Robert was in a life-altering accident, one that convinced him to make a move to Florida in 1969 and open his first business, Hidden Valley, with his father, Alphonse, and brother, David, in Boca Raton, Florida, where it thrived for many decades.
Robert loved music, he always had the best stereo equipment and absolutely loved Jazz (thanks dad, for teaching me about music).
Ft. Pierce/Stuart called to my dad, and he answered the call in the late 80’s, starting a second business. Many fine years were spent with him on the boat, at Archies, and many other locations in the local area.
Private services will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Academy Assisted Living in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
