Robert Elwin Savold, 85, died January 12, 2013, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Robert was born in Brooklyn, New York and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1990, coming from Massapequa Park, New York.
He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during WWII, a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, a member of the Elks BPOE 1520, retired from the John Fluke Company and was of the catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Doris Bullock-Savold of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Roberta Kantola of Sherman Oaks, CA; son, George D. Savold of Massapequa Park, Long, Island, NY; stepsons, William Bullock of Brooklyn, NY, James Bullock of Arlington, MA, Christopher Bullock of Vienna, VA, and Matthew Bullock of Chester, NY; stepdaughters, Susan Heffernan of West Field, NJ and Doris Kawas of Cary, NC; brothers, Gregory Savold and Gerald Savold both of North Carolina; 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia and stepdaughter, Karen Pedini.
There will be a Memorial Mass at John of the Cross Catholic Church on Friday, January 18th at 10:00 AM.
