Robert Shelton Nichols, 70, died January 20, 2006, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.Mr. Nichols was born in Webster Springs, West Virginia and has lived in Port St. Lucie since 1987, coming from Watanga, TN.He was a graduate of Marshall College, Ohio University, University of Michigan, Indian River Community College and Red Wing, MN Vo-Tech. Before retirement, he was a registered nurse. He taught at George Peabody College for Teachers and Northwestern University. He owned and operated Windworks Farm Band Instrument Repair in Tennessee.
Mr. Nichols was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Stuart.He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dorothy Nichols; sons, Robert Morrelles of Taylor Mill, KY, William Nichols and Daniel Nichols of Port St. Lucie, FL; brothers, Ronald Nichols of Diana, West Virginia and Richard Nichols of Hurricane, West Virginia; sister, Louise Comer of Hurricane, West Virginia; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Narabel Nichols.
