Robert Vance Smith, Jr., 74, died June 24, 2006, in Vero Beach, Florida.He was born in Orange, New Jersey, and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1945, coming from Orange, NJ.Mr. Smith was a general contractor in the construction industry, was a licensed boat captain and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints.Survivors include his wife of 4 years, Pauline Smith of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Vivienne Bellardo of Jupiter, FL and Emily Smith of Pensacola, FL; son, John Smith of Fort Pierce, FL, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
