Ronald R. Baker, 75 YOA, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away 8/27/24.

Ronald was born 10/27/48 to Herbert & Ethel Baker in Bluefield, West Virginia.

After Ronald graduated from Dan McCarty High School in Fort Pierce, Florida in 1968, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he went on to become a Pilot Instructor for 8 years.

After leaving the Air Force he went on to work for Piper Aircraft and then Grumman Aero Space. Staying in the field he loved. At the time of retirement, Ronald was Supervisor of Electronics at Grumman Aero Space.

Ronald spent many of his younger years helping with the Youth group at Oleander Church of God in Fort Pierce, Florida mentoring, teaching and spending quality time. His children fondly remember the house being filled with youth group kids many a weekend, making pizza, there being lots of laughter and always knowing there was a safe place to go for all. Along with Monday night volleyball games at the church, to helping raise money so our youth group could go on trips together.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 55 years Barbara Baker, Daughter Melody Test, Son Michael Baker, Son in Law Jason Test, Daughter in Law Shelby Baker, Grandchildren Taylor, Logan, Jonathan and Elizabeth.

Also survived by his siblings Delores, Tina, James and Robert

Ronald is predeceased by his father Herbert Baker, mother Ethel Baker, and siblings Wayne, David, Doug, Steffon, and Amy.

Ronald's favorite activities were wood working, computer rebuilds, and spending time with his Christian brothers and sisters at the church.

Ronald’s Celebration of Life will be at Spirit Life Church of God, Saturday 9/14/24 at 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM.
