Ronald Alexander Becton, 70, passed away September 13, 2021 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Hazel Becton.
Ron was loved and cherished by many people including his wife of 48 years Deborah Becton; son, Clayton Alexander Becton and daughter-in-law Mary Riley Becton of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Kaleigh and Easton Becton; brothers, Donald Becton of Mayo, FL and Danny Becton of Lake Wales, FL; and a sister, Cathy Garrett of Lake Wales, FL.
Born in Avon Park, Florida Ron often boasted he was a true “Cracker”. He graduated from Lake Wales High School, Lake Wales, Florida and Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida yet he was an avid Gator fan.
Ron spent over 50 years in agriculture and the citrus industry. He treasured his time spent with his son, grandchildren, and many friends. He enjoyed car racing, a good football game and a round of golf but was a true outdoorsman especially loving turkey and deer hunting.
Memorial donations may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
