Ronald Ralph John, 79, died August 6, 2024 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Mr. John was born in Massillon, Ohio and moved to St. Lucie County in 1961.

Ronald served in the U.S. Air Force & U.S. Army. He then went on to work for the Fort Pierce Police Department for 12 years and then joined the Port St. Lucie Police Department for 12 years. He was a member of Westside Church for many years where he was a Deacon and a greeter. He was also involved with the Christmas production, which he absolutely loved and made many lasting friends, young and old. He was a member of the Midway Road Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, active member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and previous Board of Director of White City Cemetery Association. Ronald also loved bowling, woodworking, and traveling. 

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl John of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Robert (Cary) John of Atlantic Beach, FL; daughters, Misti Ebner of Florida, Christi (Donnie) Buck of Vero Beach, FL, and Tammy (Rick) Fuss of Port St. Lucie, FL and Mary (Roy) Chandler of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Becky Cullen of Port St.Lucie, FL and grandchildren, Blake Elmore, Tori Chandler, Alex Fuss, Shaye Murphy, Brenden Ebner, Lexi Colosimo, Madison Colosimo, Hannah Colosimo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation www.t2t.org 

Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM with a service to follow at 10:30 AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
