Ronald Paul “Ron” Schwartz, 67, died March 20, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Ron was born in Trenton, New Jersey and moved to Fort Pierce, Florida in 1974.

He retired from St. Lucie County Mosquito Control after 30 years of service.  Since his retirement in 2017, he worked at the St. Lucie County Fair in the maintenance department.  He was a member of the VFW Post 8058, AMVETS Post 15, and the American Legion Post 358.  He loved fishing, riding motorcycles, BBQing, and helping friends.

Survivors include his daughter, Gena (Jasin) Barrett of Palm City, FL; sons, Ronald Paul Wheeler of Fort Pierce, FL and Christopher (Quinn) Wheeler of Fort Pierce, FL; mother, Ella Schwartz of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters, Candy Christinsen of Gaffney, SC and Dolly (Bob) Tackett of Trenton, NJ; brother, Ricky Schwartz of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Jeremy and Jade Barrett, and Hais and Rylan Wheeler; and companion, Moe Lee of Port St. Lucie, FL.  He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Schwartz.
