Ronny “Polecat” Lee Woods, 52 died December 28, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Woods was born in Casper, Wyoming and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.
He was a retired corrections officer with Martin County Corrections. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, life member of ABATE, life member of the U.S. Military Veterans Motor Cycle Club, American Legion Post 40, and member of DAV. He enjoyed motorcycles and tennis.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Susan “Sitter” Woods of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Phil (Serita) Woods of Knoxville, TN; sister, Dorane Hale of Columbus, KS; brother, Bill Woods of Oswego, KS; sister, Sandra (John) Hancock of Gainesville, FL and 4 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph F. Woods and mother, Rachel Galey Buckallew.
Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
