Rosalie Douglass Dill, 84, died September 14, 2010, in Lake Placid, Florida.
Rosalie was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, and was a resident of Fort Pierce for the past 60 years, coming from Charlottesville, Virginia.
Before retirement she worked 40 years with the Freedom Communications, Inc, her last position as the Superintendant of Productions for the Fort Pierce Tribune. She was a life-time member of the Order of Easter Star, Ruth Chapter #7, a life-time member of the VFW, Ladies Auxillary, Post #8058, member of the Pilot Club of St. Lucie County, Pilot International and Women of the Moose, Port St. Lucie, Florida Chapter 1236, and an Honorary member of the Florida Agriculture Crime Intelligence Unit.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Evans of Oviedo, FL and Carolyn Dill-Collier of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Harry Austin Dill, Jr. of Williston, FL; daughter-in-law, Susie Dill of North Port, FL; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Austin “Jim” Dill and son, Thomas Richard Dill.
