Rose Marie Castle

Rose Marie Castle, 91, died December 1, 2015 in Okeechobee, Florida.

Ms. Castle was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts and moved to Okeechobee in 1945 coming from Danbury, Connecticut.

She worked for a bullet factory during WWII, was a clerk at Frys Hardware, and retired after 21 years from WalMart. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann & husband Cotton Woolley of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Fred & wife Sherry Woolley of Ft. Pierce, FL and Cindi & husband Chris Keefe of Orlando, FL; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Evan, Lauren, Elaina and Sophia; cousins, Delores Gabriel and Gloria Assad, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Anna (Gabriel) Assad, brothers, George Assad, Joey Assad and her sister, Josephine Stavola.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Okeechobee, 411 SE 4th Street, Okeechobee, FL 34974.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 6-8 PM with a service at 7:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Riverview Memorial Park, Fort Pierce.
