Rose Marie “Ronnie” DeGarmo, 82, died January 11, 2015 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. DeGarmo was born in Amityville, New York and moved to Fort Pierce in 1994 coming from Babylon, New York.
She volunteered at Smithsonian Marine Center in Fort Pierce, Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, Manatee Research & Education Center, and at St. Lucie County Public Library in downtown Fort Pierce.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan DeGarmo of Baltimore, MD and Catherine DeGarmo (Diane Waldron) of Utica, NY; sons, John Louis DeGarmo (Cathy Ferris) of Bay Shore, NY and Richard (Denise) DeGarmo of Oak Lawn, IL; grandchildren, Rae Anne DeGarmo, Caitlin (Jared) DeGarmo Cree, David DeGarmo, Kerri DeGarmo, Peter Haas, Phillip Masters, and Saraphina Masters. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. DeGarmo.
