Roselio Jorge, 94, passed away peacefully in Fort Pierce, Florida on December 18, 2019.
Roselio was born in the Dominican Republic on August 30, 1925 and came from his home in the Dominican to New York then to Coral Springs, Florida. He moved to his forever home on the Treasure Coast about 15 years ago.
He was employed with General Motors for 23 years before retiring. Roselio was a strong man as well as a great husband, father and friend. He was the leader of the family and helped everyone in their family move to the United States. Roselio was a proud man, very loyal and very friendly as well as being someone you could always look up to. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Daisy Concepcion Jorge of Port St. Lucie, FL.; daughters, Yvelisse Jusino and her husband, Tom of New York, Nancy Santiago of Port St. Lucie, FL., Daisy Colon of Port St. Lucie, FL., Janna Vargas of Fort Pierce, FL.; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Roselio is also the oldest of 11 siblings and he is survived by 9.
There will be a Visitation held on Thursday December 26, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 PM with a Wake Service at 5:30 PM at the Haisley Tribute Center, Port St. Lucie, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday December 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church, 425 SW Irving Street, Port St. Lucie, FL. with a burial to follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery.
