Rosemary Brown Smith, 87, died on September 25, 2015 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Ms. Smith was born in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Prior to retirement, she worked at John Carroll High School as cafeteria manager for 38 years. She was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church, loved her family, outdoors, and to cook.
Survivors include her daughters, Helen Green (Billy), Rose Neill, and Cynthia Barnhill (John), of Fort Pierce, Florida; sons, Benjamin Smith of Fort Pierce, Edward Smith (Joy) of Alma, Georgia; grandchildren, Ed (Erin) Green, Joe (Ann) Green, Amy Stephenson, Anna Green, Lisa Green, Cindy Ann (Danny) Barber, Kimberly (Eli) Hines, Tina (Johnny) Beasley, and Edward Smith, Jr; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, MaryAnn Hawkins (George) of Vero Beach; brother, Paul Brown (Patti) of Long Beach, California. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Smith, her sister, Sister Paul Emelia Brown, parents, Edward & Emelia Brown; and her step-mother, Olive Hunt Brown.
The family has established special memorial fund in Rosemary’s honor at John Carroll High School. Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 5-7 PM with a Wake Service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church.
