Roy was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
He received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Florida in 2009 and Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida. He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church, Phi Kappa Tau at the University of Florida, and was a certified scuba diver. He enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his mother, Roberta Woodward of Fort Pierce, FL; father, Steven Reed of Dunnellon, FL; maternal grandfather, Robert Harris of Panama City, FL and step-father, Scott Woodward of Fort Pierce, FL.
