Ruby P. Hickey, 87, died October 28, 2008 in West Palm Beach.
Mrs. Hickey was born in Tennessee and has lived in Ft. Pierce for several years coming from Tennessee.
She was an active member of the Eastern Star and retired from the U.S. Army as an Army nurse after 20 years of service.
Survivors include her sisters, Tommie Ruth Thomas of Hamilton, OH and Dorlas Grace Poff of Lexington, KY. She was preceded in death be her 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of St. Lucie County, P.O. Box 3661, Fort Pierce, FL 34948.
Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, 2008 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, Florida. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
