Ruth Elizabeth Chappell, 62, died February 8, 2008 in Miami, Florida.Mrs. Chappell was born in Westerly, Rhode Island and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1972 coming from Poughkeepsie, New York.
She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and really enjoyed taking care of the elderly at Abbiejean Russell Nursing Home. She loved traveling and her dogs, Dusty and Pebbles. She was also a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all.Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Harold Chappell of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Norman Chappell of Beaumont, TX and Guy Credit of Tiffin, OH; daughter, Missy Pinon of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Shirley Fernando of Westerly, RI, Darlene Jankila of Hope Valley, RI, Claudia White of Hope Valley, RI, and Janice Cassidy of Voluntown, CT; brothers, Edwin Cassidy of DeKalb, NY, Wayne Cassidy of New York, Ernest Cassidy of Voluntown, CT; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janetta Mackie and brothers, Archie Cassidy and Lenford Cassidy.
