Ruth Hernandez, 74, passed away on September 5, 2024 in Port St. Lucie, Florida. 

Mrs. Hernandez was born on October 24, 1949 in Puerto Rico and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1999 coming from Bronx, New York. 

Ruth had lots of interests, including…her plants, cooking, her grandchildren, playing bingo, anything sweet, shopping, reading, Christian music & praising her Lord, watching movies, and decorating her home. She would quite frequently make her husband change all the wall colors in her home.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Natalio Hernandez of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Michelle Hernandez of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Jason (Lilly) Hernandez of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Naomie Ruiz, Jeremy Hernandez, Anthony Rosas, and Jeremy Rosas; and best friend, Yvette Despiau. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Ramos, and parents, Josefina Santiago and Daniel Ramos.

Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 5:00-6:00 PM with a service to follow at 6:00 PM at Haisley Tribute Center, Port St. Lucie.
