Ruth Jeanine McAuliffe, 73, of Fort Pierce, FL died after a long illness.
Ruth was born in Savannah, NY in 1935; she grew up in Syracuse, NY and graduated from Syracuse Central High School in 1952.
She married her husband of 52 years, Richard, in 1956 and they resided in Camillus, NY. In 1971 Ruth and her family moved to Westford, MA, where they resided until 2002 when they moved to Fort Pierce, FL.
Ruth was a homemaker, a mother and a devoted wife to her husband Richard and their four children. Ruth was a hard working, generous and compassionate person, Ruth will be greatly missed.
When God made the perfect wife and mother he called her Ruth.
She was a communicant at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, as well as Notre Dame Catholic Mission Church both in Fort Pierce, FL. She was also a communicant of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church for 31 years in Westford, MA.
Survivors include her husband, Richard H. McAuliffe of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Richard T. McAuliffe of Duck, NC and Daniel McAuliffe of Dedham, MA; daughters, Kathleen Hintlian of Lexington, MA, and Kelly Boshar of Chelmsford, MA and ten grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 PM on Monday, February 9, 2009 at Healy & Sons Funeral Home in Westford, MA. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Westford, MA. Burial to follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
