Ruth L. Thompson

Ruth L. Thompson, 92, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 11, 2015. She was born in Gibsonia, Pa., and was a resident of Fort Pierce for 34 years. She and her husband, Bruce, owned and managed the Fort Pierce True Value Hardware in Sable Palm Plaza from 1981 through 1992, then she worked as a teller for Riverside National Bank in Fort Pierce from 1993 until her retirement in April of 2004.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce C. Thompson. She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Thompson and Randi Theobald, of Scottsdale, AZ; her brother, Dr. Henry C. Lewis of Greensburg, PA; grand-daughter Emily Garrison of Felton, CA; grand-son Jason Theobald of Calistoga, CA; and great grand-daughter Zoe Sophia Garrison of Felton, CA.
