Salvatore Altadonna, 64, of Port St. Lucie,FL, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on 05/26/2022.
He was born in Messina, Italy and moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 1967. He was part owner of Altadonna Restaurant where he was the head chef and excelled with his cooking skills along with his passion for making people happy through food. In 1991, he then moved to his current city of Port St. Lucie, Florida where he loved to fish and be outdoors with his garden. He was a man of many skills and was a certified electrician, HVAC technician with St. Lucie County for 20 years, and enjoyed learning whenever the opportunity came up. He never gave up on his passion for knowledge and helping those around him.
If you had the pleasure of knowing Salvatore, you know he always exhibited the definition of how one should be, the true example of a life lived to the fullest extent, and always lived with determined purpose.
Salvatore is survived by his wife of 40 years, Angela Berinato, daughter, Stefania, his son Marco and wife Lindsay, grandchildren, Adrianna, Jayden, Isabella, and Liliana. Also he is survived by his siblings, Giuseppe, Francesca, Carmelo, Natalina, Rosa, Rita and family.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 2PM to 4PM with a Prayer Service to begin at 4PM at the Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
