Mr. Carter was born in Manchester, Tennessee and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1982 coming from Michigan.
Samuel retired after 20 years of dedicated service from Terminix Pest Control. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #3582 and a proud member of the Life Point Church. He enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Melody Carter of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Mark, Mike, Scott, Dwight and Sam Carter all of Michigan and Christopher Hartgrove of Portland, OR; daughters, Andrea Vicente of Oldsmar, FL and Jolene Springs of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Diane Koepke of Michigan; brother, Clinton (Carol) Bess of Michigan; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janie Carter and brother, Dwight Carter.
