Samuel D. Worrell, 59, died August 13, 2011 in Stuart, Florida.
Mr. Worrell was born in Barbados and moved to Port St. Lucie in 2005 coming from Tamarac, Florida.
He was employed with Publix Supermarket for 12 years. He enjoyed music and dancing, soccer, kite flying, Cricket, doing Jigsaw puzzles and was also an avid NBA basketball fan.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Monica Worrell of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Felicia Jones of Barbados; sisters, Tolita Bayne and Janice Worrell both of Barbados; and one granddaughter.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Real Life Church Building Fund, 1591 SE Port St. Lucie Blvd., Suite D., Port St. Lucie, FL 34952.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 12-1 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
